很多翻译公司在成立之初，只是简单的将译员按照业务水平的不同将其分成不同的档次，配以不同的薪资，从公平角度和企业的发展来看这种做法无可厚非，但是也要清楚的认识到，译员的专业水准是会随着时间的推移以及个人的努力程度而改变的，如果不能建立一套有序的、良性的晋升制度，最后只会让公司内部出现尸位素餐或者郁郁不得志的极端情况，这对于任何一家翻译公司的稳定和发展都是具有破坏性的。
综合来看，影响当前众多翻译公司发展的因素大多数还是存在于内部，如果一家企业不能从自身出发找好病因，并且从源头开始治理是无法应对来自各方面的挑战。
