本文就是通过对VaR方法的应用，针对中国股市几个不同的行业板块收益率进行实证研究。结论表明不同的行业板块，VaR方法都能对其股票未来的走势进行有效的预测，但其精度受时间段和置信度的影响，即可以通过不断改变置信度和时间段的方式，对某一股市进行较为准确的预测
By analysing the methods of VaR's application, this article aims at various sectors of China's stock markets and carrying out an empirical research on their rates of return. The result revealed that methods of VaR were able to forecast the share price movements of any company from different sector of the markets effectively.  Though its accuracy was affected by the Time frame and its confidence measures. But through changing the time frame  methods and to improve the confidence measures, it could help a stock market to carry out a more accurate forecast / prediction.
